COMPATIBILITY

BEFORE YOU BEGIN USING YOUR SENSOR

Decide on your preferred device: whether to use the reader or the FreeStyle Libre 2 app before starting your Sensor. If you plan to utilize the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor in conjunction with an Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) System, please do not activate your sensor with either the FreeStyle Libre 2 app or the reader. Specific activation instructions can be found on your insulin pump manufacturer's website.

Note that alarms and glucose readings can only be accessed via one device at a time—either your phone or your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader [1]. Should you wish to obtain alarms and readings through your phone, initiating the Sensor with this app is necessary. Conversely, if you opt for your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader, you must activate the Sensor via the Reader.

Keep in mind that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app, Reader, and your AID system do not synchronize data among themselves.

If you aren't utilizing an AID, ensure to scan your Sensor every 8 hours with your designated device for comprehensive reporting; otherwise, your analytics may be incomplete. You can upload and view your data exclusively on LibreView.com.
